HTC Flyer touches down at T-Mobile, Scribe pen not included
US Cellular’s got one and so does Sprint (albeit under a re-branded banner). So, where’s the Magenta-friendly HTC Flyer we saw creep up at the FCC this June? Well, it appears T-Mobile’s been offering it for some time to business customers only, but that exclusivity’s come to a close. The 7-inch Gingerbread slate with AWS bands is curiously absent from the operator’s own online site, but you can still snag it from HTC for $299 with a new mobile broadband plan or $454 with a contract extension. Sadly, neither party’s tossing in the HTC Scribe pen gratis, so you’ll have to make due with your own digits for navigating or just pick it up separately. If this is the Sense-laden variant you’ve been holding out for, now’s the time to hit up the source and get to ordering.

iPod touch still maxes out at 64GB / $399, available in white October 12th
While the iPhone 4S takes the headlines with its dual antennas and upgraded processor, we also have a new white iPod touch joining the family. Pricing for the “#1 portable game player” (Apple’s words, with some numbers to back them up) still starts at $199 for the 8GB version, going up $399 for a 64GB. All will be available in black or white October 12th. There’s no hardware changes to speak of, so hopefully all those sweet iOS 5 upgrades are enough to hold you. Check out the full details in our live blog or in the press release, conveniently available after the break.

Sony Android tablet details and specs continue to leak, ‘S2′ is the Sony Tablet P
We’ve got more info for you on the pair of Android tablets Sony plans to launch next year month, as our source indicates the dual 5.5-inch screened clamshell, thus far codenamed the S2, will launch as the Sony Tablet P. Hardware specs include a weight of 370 grams — less than the iPad 2′s 601 grams, but more than say, a Kyocera Echo at 193g — 512Mb of RAM, 4GB of storage and a 2GB SD card, with connectivity over 4G or WiFi. Both the Tablet P and the Tablet S will share NVIDIA Tegra 2 processors and 0.3MP (not 3.0MP as we’d previously reported) front cameras, but the more conventional, WiFi-only Tablet S weighs in at 600g, has 1GB of RAM and will be available in 16GB or 32GB versions. There’s still no word on price or exact shipping dates but retailers have reportedly been told to expect more information soon, so stay tuned for further updates.
Update: This post previously stated the tablets would launch next year, that was a mistype. We’re still expecting to see them launch in September.

Lenovo Ideapad Tablet K1 priced at $500 by OfficeMax, inches closer to release
The Ideapad Tablet K1 is about as well known an unannounced product as there is right now, having been pictured and listed by a couple of online retailers and passed the requisite tests over at the FCC. What we weren’t quite so sure about was its price, which a tipster now informs us is $499.99, and its launch date, which looks to be fast approaching. The OfficeMax placard we’ve been forwarded promises 32GB of storage, Android 3.0 (with a “custom-built” interface on top), 1280 x 800 resolution on a 10.1-inch multitouch screen, a pair of cameras, up to 10 hours of battery life, a weight of 1.6lb (725g), and a thickness of just over half an inch (13.2mm). Not exactly an unorthodox list of specs, but more choice is rarely a bad thing.
