Acer Liquid E now available on Rogers — one sexy beast, eh?

Acer Liquid E android smartphone

Rogers Wireless now has another great option for Canadian Android lovers, or for those who just need a nice current smartphone.  The Liquid E is a powerhouse stuffed into a smaller package, perfect for folks on the go and people who just don’t need 4.3" of screen.  Full specs are listed on the Rogers website but here’s the short list — 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor, 3.5-inch display, 512 MB, Android 2.1.  Oh, yeah.

Pricing looks nice as well, at $49.99 on a three year contract, $324.99 for 2 years, $374.99 for one year and just $424.99 to buy the phone outright.  Looks like a hot little phone that I’d love to see come a little further south.  Anyone planning on picking this one up?  Shout out in the comments and on the forums! Android Liquid e will cost $50 on Rogers, coming in June

We already knew the Acer Liquid e was heading to our friendly neighbors to the north via Rogers, that’s old news. What we didn’t know was when it’d release and how much it’ll cost. According to mobilesyrup, the Acer Liquid e (which is the Acer Liquid with Android 2.1) will release in June on Rogers for the low, low price of $49.99 with new 3-year contract. That’s a pretty good deal for a pretty decent Android device.

Plus, if you’re sick and tired of AT&T handcuffing Android devices, an unlocked Rogers Acer Liquid e would work perfectly fine on AT&T’s network. We’re just saying..

Acer Liquid e headed to Rogers, use unlocked on AT&T if you wish

The just announced Acer Liquid e, which is really just an original Liquid with Android 2.1, has found a home in Canada. Rogers has just announced that they’ll be bringing the Acer Liquid e to their customers sometime this Spring which would make it the first Android 2.1 device available in Canada. There’s been no official pricing or exact date set yet but we’ll definitely keep our eye on this sure to be great Android phone.

Oh and yes, when the time is right, you can also unlock the Acer Liquid e and use it with AT&T 3G.
