Verizon Fascinate case review: Mobi Products Hard Shell Case
The Mobi Hard Shell Case for the Verizon Fascinate and U.S. Cellular Mesmerize comprises two pieces that quickly snap together around the perimeter of the Fascinate. Each piece is made of durable hard plastic, with a soft touch matte finish.
Once assembled, the case feels tight and secure, without adding significant weight. Without a case, the Fascinate’s battery cover scratches easily and feels slippery in the hands.
The Mobi Hard Shell Case provides a solid grip and protects against unsightly scratches. Fingerprints were virtually invisible and the case easily cleaned with a damp towel. Perfectly aligned cutouts provide sufficient access to the buttons, speaker, camera, microphone, headset jack, and micro SD door.
The top front portion of the case covers the Verizon logo. A 1mm protrusion around the perimeter of the screen and camera protect against everyday bumps and contact with flat surfaces. A notch on the right side allows for disassembly. However, I had a difficult time separating each piece. If you swap batteries on a regular basis, this will prove somewhat of a challenge.
Overall, the Mobi Hard Shell case is a solid, stylish product, that feels great in the hands and provides moderate protection. It’s available for $12.95 from the Android Central Store. More pics of it in action are after the break.

Review: Mobi Products Protector Case for the Motorola Droid
Ever since I got my Motorola Droid the decision of whether or not to keep it in a case was one that I swayed back and forth on. Having tried several cases, none of them ever met all the needs and wants I had for a case, so most of them ended up getting removed to sit in a drawer in my room. Once I saw the Mobi Products Protector Case I was intrigued by the various different designs, and it looked as though it would protect the device well without adding any additional bulk. Curiousity got the best of me on this accessory again, so I gave it a go, so join me after the break to take a look at some more information as well as some pictures of the case in action.

Accessory review: Mobi Products cradle w/ spare battery slot for the Nexus One
Nexus One users are a peculiar lot. If you use one, you know what I mean. Sure, other, debateably better, Android phones have come and gone, but the N1 is hard to let go, and we’re still in the market for great accessories like cases and cradles. Since my order for an OEM Nexus One desktop stand is on perpetual back-order, I decided to give the Mobi Products cradle and spare battery charger a shot. And I’m glad I did. See why, after the break.

Case Review: Mobi Products Clip Pouch for the Motorola Droid X
The Mobi Products Clip Pouch is a no-frills way to protect your Droid X. The pouch is made out of a soft nylon that’s stitched together and fits the biggest of Android smartphones. There’s a Velcro latch on the front that keeps the phone securely inside.
The rear of the phone sports a belt loop and plastic clip, so you can attach it to a backpack, purse or bag. Inside the case is a small pocket that’s just big enough for a full-size SD card or a bit of loose change.
If you face the phone toward the rear of the pouch, you’ll have access to the 3.5mm headphone jack (so you can listen to music while it’s in the case), the power button and the volume buttons.
All in all, it’s a very basic pouch that does its job well without adding much bulk to the phone. The Mobi Products Clip Pouch for the Droid X is available for $9.95 from the Android Central Store. Check out more pics after the break.

Review: Mobi Products skin case for the Sprint Evo 4G
The Mobi Products skin case for the Sprint Evo 4G protects your Evo from bumps and scratches and feels great in the hand while doing it. Made of some secret variety of rubber, it feels like silicon without the slipperiness. It wraps your phone completely, leaving only the touchscreen, capacitive buttons, and the speaker grille (including LED and prox/light sensors) uncovered for ease of use and maximum protection. The skin has cutouts for all the ports and microphone, as well as the kickstand, camera/flash and rear speaker. Most importantly for the Evo 4G, the skin is thick enough so that laying the phone on it’s back still keep the camera lens from making contact with whatever surface it’s laying on. This alone makes the Mobi skin a perfect case for your Evo.
The material is also coated in a special anti-dust and anti-slip coating, and this is one time that a product lives up to it’s billing. I live on a dirt road, and everything in the office collects dust — everything but this case that is. It will grab a little pocket lint, but a quick shake (after taking your phone out of course!) and a flick of the finger will send that lint straight to oblivion.
The fit is great, tight enough to stay on while slipping in and out of your pocket, but easy to put on by stretching it around the four corners of your phone. The sides wrap completely around the bezel, and should offer great protection from an occasional bump on the corners. The Mobi Products skin case is available in several colors at the Android Central Store for $9.95. There’s a slew of other pics after the break, check em out.
