Nexus S teaser video now available for your viewing pleasure
Yesterday during the Web 2.0 summit we got a brief look at Google CEO Eric Schmidt showing off Gingerbread — Android 2.3 as well as, the now infamous "unannounced" device also known as the Nexus S. While it’s time on stage was brief, it was more than enough to have us wanting to see more. A few goodies were noted after Eric stepped off stage as well. Remember that "blink off" video of the screen we previously saw powering down? It’s pretty awesome. What’s even more awesome is that it’s still included, as noted by the folks over at Engadget. Hit the break for the full embed of the video. Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

Blogger teases time with Samsung i9100, MotoTab
You know how bloggers are — gotta take us all with a grain of salt (and some of us more than others). But when Mobile-Review’s Eldar Murtazin teases that he’s seen something, chances are better than average that he’s actually laid eyes on the unicorn. And that brings us to a couple of recent tweets. First was the one where he he mentioned playing with the Sony Ericsson Anzo and Samsung Galaxy 2 (or Galaxy s) i9100. An a tweet today says that Motorola’s working on a 7-inch "Motopad" that will be the first to sport Honeycomb, which is believed to be Android 3.0.
Tweets — even from Eldar — are still usually a ways form us mere mortals having devices in-hand, so we’ll see. [Twitter 1, 2]

Best Buy to feature Nexus S materials as soon as Nov. 14 [rumor]
When it rains, it often pours — Nexus S (or Nexus Elite, or Nexus 2; pick your poison at this point) rumors are no different. The fellows at Android Police have got their hands on an internal screen from Best Buy, showing that promotional materials, and possibly some sort of dummy unit, are scheduled to be set up by Nov. 14. We checked with our Best Buy source, and while they can’t confirm, they say it certainly looks to be in order. Maybe those "mistakes" at the Best Buy website weren’t off the mark after all?

Samsung Elite /Nexus S / Nexus 2 pics from the wild
Call it the Samsung Elite, the Nexus 2, or the Nexus S — finally some photos have cropped up. Engadget has a handful of shots of what they are calling the Nexus S, complete with packaging labeled "i9020." There’s a SIM card slot, if you had any doubt of a GSM device. If you don’t want to get your hopes up based on a Best Buy snafu, these should certainly give you some hope. Hit the source link to see the complete set. [Engadget]

Best Buy tips the ‘Nexus S’ on T-Mobile? Maybe, or maybe not
Hmmmmmmm. So Best Buy apparently had up some sort of preorder slot for the Nexus S, a "Pure Google" phone "Only available at Best Buy this holiday season." And the image placeholder points to T-Mobile, eh? So maybe Best Buy knows something the rest of us have been speculating about and will have an exclusive period.
Or — and you’ll have to forgive our cynicism here — maybe it’s just some SEO trickery at work. Wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen an online store list an unreleased (and occasionally unannounced) phone just to get a leg up on everybody else. Regardless, the link’s down now. Oh, and about that "Nexus S" name — we’re hearing otherwise. [Best Buy via Phandroid]
